People book the wrong kind of session all the time, usually because the vocabulary is muddled. Here is the plain version.
Psychic
A psychic reads the energy of living people and of situations. If your question is about a relationship, a decision, a job, a move, or a pattern that keeps repeating in your life, you want a psychic reading. This is the broadest category and covers most of what people actually come in for.
Clairvoyant
Clairvoyance is not a separate profession — it is one channel within psychic work. It means information that arrives visually, as images or scenes, rather than as a feeling or a knowing. A reader who describes themselves as clairvoyant is telling you how they receive information, not what kind of question they can answer.
In practice most readings draw on several channels at once, which is why you rarely need to choose between a psychic and a clairvoyant reading in advance.
Medium
A medium communicates with people who have died. This is genuinely a different discipline. If what you want is contact with a loved one who has passed, you need a medium specifically — and it is worth asking directly, because not every psychic offers it.
Jennifer works as a psychic and clairvoyant. She does not offer mediumship readings, so if that is what you are looking for she will point you elsewhere rather than take the booking.
So which do you need?
- A question about your life, a relationship or a decision — a psychic reading
- A specific question you want examined from several angles — a tarot reading
- Wanting to understand your own patterns and temperament — a palm reading
- Feeling drained, heavy or stuck without an obvious cause — energy work
- Contact with someone who has died — a medium, which Jennifer does not offer
If you are still unsure, describe the situation when you call. Working out which session fits takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing.
